Elise Gruman Lippincott

After graduating from Tulane in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Elise carried the city’s rich tapestry of music, art and culture to New York. Later, she returned to her hometown of Tampa to raise her family. With her youngest child now grown, Elise embraced the opportunity to pursue her lifelong passion of storytelling.

 

Her upcoming debut novel, STORY BOYS, is the result of six immersive years spent in New Orleans, where she dedicated herself to researching and honoring the legacies of the Armstrong and Karnofsky families-two iconic names that helped shape the city’s cultural landscape.
